Before You Arrive

We are so excited you have decided to try out Willow’s Groomer! The Willow’s Groomer Team can’t wait to meet you! Before your first appointment, here are a few things you can do to make your check-in a bit shorter and smoother.

  1. Proof of vaccines: Before our team can start working on your furry baby we will need to see the due date for the Rabies Vaccine. (Unfortunately, the Rabies Tag is insufficient because we can’t tell the month and day it will be due next) You can bring a hard copy showing the next due date to your appointment, or you can send it over before to our email.

  2. Fill out our Enrollment Form: Grooming is a very personable process, and we would like to know as much about your dog as we can. This form allows that to happen and will give you some additional details on a few of our policies. You can fill it out before your appointment, email it back to us filled out, or feel free to print it and bring it to your first visit. You can find our Enrollment Form HERE. The Willow’s Groomer Team is always available to answer any questions you may have about this!

  3. Getting a haircut? We love to see clients with an idea of what they would like to see their pets look like. Sometimes we have to modify what photo you may bring to us to work with your specific dog’s coat, but we will do our best to get it just right. Feel free to bring in photos, or just ideas of what you’d like us to do. We also LOVE to help come up with the most ideal haircut for your pet as well, so you can always let us have a bit of a creative session with you when you check in.

When You Arrive

The big day has come, you are getting ready to turn into our beautiful parking lot. Here are some helpful tips before you jump out of the car and head inside:

  • Our shop is located on a busy street. We highly recommend the use of leashes, and to make sure you have control over your dog before you exit your car. You may even want to double-check that your dog’s collar or harness still fits right!

  • Dogs will have more fun with us if they don’t have to potty! Arrive a bit early and take your dog for a potty break. Having to go potty during a spa day is no fun for anyone and we would appreciate not having to stop the party for a bathroom break. If your dog happens to go #2 outside our shop, we have a handy poop trash bin out on the front of our porch and we would appreciate you picking up after your dog! Forgot your handy poop bags? NO FEAR! Our wonderful receptionist inside can hand you one (on us) so you can take care of your dog’s business.

Heading Inside and Check-in

Once your pet(s) have gone to the potty, it’s time to head inside for check-in! Juliana, our receptionist will greet you with a warm welcome and start your check-in process. First, we will make sure we have a good phone number to call for pick-up. Saving our phone number in your phone can make for an even easier call for pickup. Then Juliana will confirm services with you and go over what’s included. This is a great time to add any of our add-ons, so be sure to check them out! We will then confirm that we have your Rabies Vaccine Due Date in our system and that you have filled out our Enrollment Form. Once we have confirmed all of that, we will have your groomer come upfront to have a one-on-one consultation about your haircut for your pet. If your pet is only here for a Luxury Bath package, Juliana or another Team Member will take your pet back to begin the fun!
